Sometimes while driving, usually only after 3 miles or so after starting to drive, all of the sudden my car will jerk really hard as if its downshifted and the CEL will come on the exact second the car jerks. After that it feels like its only running in 2nd and 3rd gears and 1 and 4 aren't there. After turning the car off and turning it right back on, the transmission problem goes away and the CEL will stay on for a day or so.
