1990 Mitsubishi Lancer 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual
Hello, could you kindly help me in the proper procedure for the tune-up of a piston type carburetor? My mechanic doesn't know how to adjust this kind of carburetor. I have problems during acceleration in the first gear, it seems there is too much fuel stock in the carburetor during idle. Thank you.

Hi EMLARA,
There is not much difference between piston type carburettor with others.
Check if the piston is opening smoothly.
Was the carb serviced and float level checked?
