Thanks for this guys. I had an accident in my Mitsubishi Galant Viento 2.4 litre 1998 model. Some hit my boot and it was out for 8 months. I later fixed the boot at the panel beaters. unfortunately the car is not starting at all. If you turn the engine it lights up the dashboard and turns the engine but it does not start. There is seems to be no compression at all and the pistons dont turn.
What could be the problem?
The car was hit from the rear and not the engine.

If engine cranks and no start check timing belt
check for spark ,check for fuel pressure
report back what is missing
if no crank at all check fuses and starter ,starter circuit and N/S switch
security system if any
