I have 1995 Mistubishi Galant, it has been giving me several problems lately. It is making a loud, vibrating, noise and keeps cutting off on me. The other day the right wheel wobbled and then the right side of the car dropped to the ground. There is a metel pipe looking piece that is hanging out at the bottom. It has not been to the shop yet, so I really need to know if this will be pricey and if I would be better off buying a new car.

Hi there,

What you describe sounds like a broken C.V. On the drive shaft, now this is not overly expensive on its own, but with out seeing it there may be other problems as well. I would think it would be wort while to get it to a repairer to at least get an estimate on the required repairs before you send it to car heaven.
