I left work in my eclipse and drove around 20 miles to home. Went to leave about hour later and tried to start but it only bogged down so after you try it for about 10 minutes it starts right up and runs perfect. Put it in the shop and had a tune up and they put it on the computer which two codes came up.02 sensor and the camshaft sensor, they fixed the 02 sensor and they said the camshaft sensor reset itself. So I didn't drive it for two weeks, drove to work today tried to start it back up at 9:30 started right up. Went back at 11:00 and it just bogged down and popped and spit after about 10 minutes the car starts right up and I drive home, car ran fine. As soon as I cut it off would not start did the same thing.I'm so frustrated with this !

Cam sensors dont "reset" themselves. Sounds like the cam sensor is shorting intrnally when it heats up, then is ok when cooled down. Have it scanned again and see if there are any codes in the PCM

I m surprise that they did o2 sensor and not the cam sensor witch more import to the car operation and fuel timing
o2 sensor if important too don’t get me wrong
but if its a choose matter I would ve gone with the cam first
