The car came in dead in its track, no forward or reverse. I rebuilt the F4A51 Transmission, and installed a new torque conv. The reverse clutch was fried. I couldn't find anything else wrong, I don't have much exp with these. Now after all new elect, and a second time apart, it has a deley(no drive or reverse) when parked for a few hours at an incline nose down. Could I have overlooked another problem, or a drainback issue. Any info would be a great help

You are a better mechanic than me.

But -- are you sure you have the right amount of trans fluid in it? You checked it with the car idling so the torgue converter sucked up its 1 1/2 qtd of fluid, whatever it needs? As you think, it does sound like the torgue converter is slipping a lot.

Did you find an internal filter for the trans fluid when you had it apart?
