So I've been looking everywhere online but can't seem to find it.
How do the support lifts that hold up my rear hood work?

Why do they stop functioning?

Can they be fixed, or is it just another money maker for the manufacturer?

Hi there,

These are gas operated rams, they can be re filled, they do fail often.

Thanks for the response! Is this something I could do myself or would it be cheaper to just buy new support lifts?

Hi there, to get them re gassed there is a special charging rig, just as easy to fit new.
