Engine hard to start when warm, not when cold

My 2000 Villager 3.3L (145K) is hard to start when engine is warm/Hot, however it starts great when cold from overnight. I crank for 10+ seconds and I have to pump the gas pedal to get it going. It sometimes sputters at first but otherwise runs fine.
I have replaced the Rotor, Wires, Cap and plugs recently no other sensors lately.
Any thoughts on what to check or replace?

Try turning the key on for 5 secs then off for about 3 times then start if it starts right up you have a bad fuel pressure regulator or check valve. Repost results.

I tried the On Hold Off and On routine this still did not seem help. I had to still step on the gas to go. However, I am not sure the Fuel Pump engages as your routine describes in the same manner on this model. So it may still be a Fuel pressure thing?

If its efi yes it should engage when the key is turned. Have fuel pressure tested at the fuel rail. Also check and replace the fuel filter if your not getting full fuel pressure, if you still dont after filter check out the pump.

Yes I had a mechanic verify it was a fuel pressure regulator.
