Hi,
Today when I steer my Mercury villager mini-van, left side doesn't turn the wheel.

I first steered both wheels all the way to left. Now if I steer to the right, only right wheel turn to right and left wheel stay as is. My wheel is then like V, both pointing to different directions.

Has anyone faced problem like this? Something is broken or lost. Luckily it happened in my parking lot. So wondering how to take it to repair shop. Please post your comments. Thanks.

In a way its a good thing that happened in a parking lot and not on the road
what you need is a tie rod end
have your front end check
you need tie rod end s and after that a front end alignment

Thanks and that is exactly the problem. Left outer tie rod is broken and the auto repair shop is planning to put the new part and do alignment.
