1998 Mercury Villager loss of all tranny fluid

1998 Mercury Villager 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 137k miles

I lost all the tranny fluid and the van will move only if I add few more qts of fluid to lose them rigth away. What could it be and more or less how expensive it is going to be Thanks

Hi there,

This will depend on where the fluid is coming from, you will have to ash it down and run it to determine where the leak is, if you can do this, advise wher the leak is and I can give you some idea as to what you will need to do to repair you transmission.
