Hi there,

I have just located your question, i would be checking the transmission oil level and condition , if the oil is dark and smells burnt, i would be getting it serviced first. if low on fluid, check for any leaks, i am not that familiar with these transmissions, but it may have a problem in the torque converter lock up clutch, this is like trying to drive a manual car off in top gear, have a word to a transmission specialist and discuss these issues with them, i feel that there is nothing practicable that you can do your self apart from what has already been mentioned.

Mark (mhpautos) Australia.

P.S. We are looking into a better method of identifying donated questions, so this won't happen in the future.
