Possible tie rod but not often. Most of the time at that speed it is a bent rim or a tire balance problem.

You can jack up a front wheel and rack it back and forth to feel for play in the wheel assy. To check for play in the tie rod. If you feel play, then identify the joint with someone else push/pulling the wheel assy, while you look.

Why would this occur only when the weather is warmer? Last week when it was in the 50's here it happened every day on the way home from work. And tthe following week it was in the 30's and does not happen then. I just seem to notice it happens only in warmer weather

Strange.

My best guess is a tire may have a shifted belt. THe hotter the tire the more expansion of air, the more a bulge could be protruding.
