2001 Mercury Sable 2001 Mercury Sable 4 Door Locks

I have a 2001 Mercury Sable 4 door with the stock automatic door locks with remote. When you push the remote buttom once the drivers side door will unlock normal and lock normal, but when you push the button again twice the other 3 doors will not unlock normal or lock normal. I do notice the three door lock knobs will move a little like it is trying to work, but they will not lock or unlock. Is this common to happen on 3 doors at once with this model vehicle. Do you know if there is a common problem with the 2001 Sable (Taurus) with this issue. I hope each actuator does not need to be replaced and there is a simple fix (main electrical door lock switch module/lubrication????) Please help. Thanks!!
