New coil- new tfi car cranks but dont start both wires to coil have power when key is turned on. Would a bad starter seleniod cause this

Not the solenoid. If it were, the car would not even crank. It's something else. What that may be, I don't know.

If you have not already, check the basics. Do you have fuel o the cylinders? Do you have spark? Check the ignition wires (spark plug wires) and spark plugs. If the spark plugs are oil fouled or fuel soaked they will not fire properly. Not only does petrolium make a great fuel and lubriicant, it is an effective electrical insulator.
