My car has a small split in a hose that carries transmission fluid through the car. The hose is up against the firewall from what I have been told. It is dripping transmission fluid on the "cadillidic" converter, which happens to be between me and the hose. Since I already kow a way to fix it, is it possible to fix it myself?

Hello,

If you know what is needed and an idea of how to go about it, then yes you can do it yourself.

Is that an easy thing to get to? I want save as much money as I can by doing it myself. The only problem is the cadillidic converter is in the way. Is it even possible to get to that hose?

Are you trying to get to from the top or from under the car? If from top then look from under should be easier to get to. Also if you can take a pic and post it I could be more specific, I cannot find a good schematic of that car.

If not sure how to upload pic here's how.....

Then just click browse and find the pic, double click on it then click upload, once pic appears just below it you will see some choice click standard.
