1986 mercury sable steering knuckle--30536miles

how do i remove the steering knuckle so i can replace the wheel bearing/hub assembly on the right side

All you have to do is take the axle out of the hub. Use a punch in the center of the axle to drive it out.
To get clearance to do this you must take the strut out of the knuckle. Remove the bolt in the back and use 2 ball peen hammers. Put one hammer on the knuckle and hit it with the other. Once the knuckle is most of the way off, lean the strut to the front of the car. Dissconnect the tie rod and rotate the knuckle so you can undo the 3 bolts. drive the old bearing assy out of the knuckle, intall the new one!
