Repair to my 2002 Mercury marqui

I asked a question about my 2002 mercury marqui, and did not get a reply, the question was that I have a 2002 Mercury Marqui, It has 79706 mile I think, I gave the right mileage previeously, it is 4 door, the car make a rattling sound when it shift it, reverse or drive, it does not make the sound only when I shift it not when I start it, I drove around the block the sound diminshed but it did not quit.

Car is a 2002 mercury marqui, has 79706mile it is an 8 cylinder car, the car give a rattling sound when shifted, reverse or drive, it does not make that sounf when we start it, the sound dimished when we drove it around the block but it did nto quit. I od not know the size of the motor

Car is Mercury Marqui, 4 dr MGL it is an 8 cyl, has 78906 miles, the car has a queeky sound when I shift reverse or drive it doesn't make that sound when I start it. I went around the block, and the sound diminshed but did not quit it,

The car is a 2002 Mercury Grand marqui ls 4 dr sedan 4.6v8 it has 78907 actual miles. The car has a squeeky soun when shifted not when started it I drove the car aroudn the block the sound diminished but nto quit it.

You want to know if the sound is more to the front, no, it is beneath the car, and is is more of a rubbing sound it seems to be in the rear, my husband says it sounds that it is in the rear but it can be anywhere, I do hear it in the back.

I did just what you asked, I did start it and had my husband circle the car, the noise is in the rear of the car
