I have been given a car to fix up and the head is blown in it can you tell me about how much this is going to cost me>

Hello,

Honestly, since the engine would have to be torn down so far I would also have the timing belt/chain changed and the water pump replaced. So, you would be looking at about $1500 or more. That will depend alot on what the Labor Rate is in your area.
