I own a 2000 Mecury Mystic. I just had the
fuel filter replaced. The car continues to hesitate
and once again today, the hesitating began-by the time I took the exit from the express way the car
dies-I try to start-usually after a few attempts
it will start again-run for a short distance, then die again.
Is it possible that I need the fuel pump replaced?

Possibly need fuel pump. Good way to test is get a fuel pressure gauge and see if you still have fuel pressure when the car dies. Also you might want to check for trouble codes. If you have any questions e-mail me at underthecarguy@aol. Com
