1998 Mercury Mystique 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

i put my car on ramps to change a speedometer wire when I rolled my car back off the ramps the fuel pump didn't come on so I changed my fuel pump and it still doesn't work can u please give me a solution for this I really need my car running

Check fuses and fuel pump relay first to ensure pump is getting power

I did all the fuses and the relays aree good

Check the inertia fuel shut-off switch, it's behind the left kick panel

I did and it wasn't reset it is down like itss supposed to be

With all of those components ruled out it only leaves the wiring to the pump left, I don't think that would have been bothered during the speedo repair but it may have been.
