Was having the problem with the car starting up fine but as soon as you put it into any gear it would kill the engine. Took it in and the transmission was rebuilt. Had the car back in my possession for about 2 hours when the o/d light was flashing and I could no longer put the car into reverse as again the engine would kill. As soon as that happened the light disappeared. What gives? Appreciate your response.

Hi there,

I would be taking it straight back to the repairer, as there's a problem with in the transmission, something is stalling the transmission and if not checked you will do some serious damage.
