My intake manifold cracked and I replaced it myself with a new one.
Now it emits white smoke, overheats randomly, spews coolant back into resovoir and uses up coolant.
I didnt notice the white smoke out the exhaust before the repair but it was hard to tell with all the coolant being lost on top of the engine when the intake was cracked. Is there something I could have did wrong in installing the new maniflold? What could be wrong and what it the cheapest way and the best way to correct this? I spent the last of my money on the new manifold and still have to pay rent for Dec some how. Please help. Email is georgesells@msn. Com.
Thank you.

Did you install new gaskets when you put on the new manifold? Is your manifold the wet kind, meaning it has coolant passages moulded into it?

Also I would like you to perform a cylinder compression test.
