1996 Mercury Marquis Power windows inoperable
Electrical problem
1996 Mercury Marquis V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 124000 miles
The pw motors can be heard "clicking" but will not always raise or lower the windows. The windows are not loose in the channels. Seems not sufficient power is getting to the motors. thanks

is it this way for all windows? check wiring, especially ground wire, to the master window switch .

A plastic clip might have broke. Do the windows fall down without pressing any of the buttons?
