1990 Mercury Cougar Repair Question

Fixing electronic seat belt for 90 cougar LS two door
Cougar 1990 LS the driver side electronic seat belt stopped working but the passenger still works. Not seeing a fuse for it. I have bought Chiltons and it isnt listed in their either. Need advise.

would seem to me the cicuit is good, but the motor is worn out on the more heavily used driver side! This will be a hard part to find in a junk yard!

Just wanted to see where to find this motor and a step by step way to taking the motor out. Do you have to take the dash apart or just the plastic cover on the pillar?

I would think it's in the door pillar.

Where would there be a step by step so I know what I am up against. This isnt in the Chiltons at all and they usually have it all.
