Were any of the earlier SLs, 300SL to say 600SLs offered with diesel engines? If so which engines were offered with each year from 1980 to 1995?

There were no diesel models of the SL produced in for sale in the US. As for European models I cannot say for sure but I would not plan on it just because of the market that the SL appealed to.
