Engine Cooling problem

coolant te mp goes up also yestaday the fan was making noise and i never change the coolant and i bought the car in 2003

If the coolant temp is higher than normal you may have a thermostat going out. The fan running is an indication of the vehicle trying to cool itself down due to the overheating condition.
