Air Conditioning problem
1995 Mercedes Benz S500 V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 77000 miles
My blower for the AC or heater is intermitent. When it does work the blower speed starts off perfect and after 5 minutes it slows down and eventually stops till I shut the car off and wait about an hour and then restart it.

Hey Doc J.,
Had a similar problem/vehicle about two months ago. By passed everything and found motor would work if direct wired. Tested wiring from switch and found it to be working. at that point had to assume that controller (mounted on motor assy) was bad. Found out they were common to fail and had been redesigned. Had to replace motor and controller ($700.00+) Hope some of this helps.

Hi
Remove wind screen to gain acess to blower motor.
Check out blower regulator A32n1. Power in motor and ground through reg. When motor stops check for power and ground.
