Had a similar problem/vehicle about two months ago. By passed everything and found motor would work if direct wired. Tested wiring from switch and found it to be working. at that point had to assume that controller (mounted on motor assy) was bad. Found out they were common to fail and had been redesigned. Had to replace motor and controller ($700.00+) Hope some of this helps.
