Unnoticed the problem started over 2years ago.

Car mercedes 190E, 1991, model saloon, automatic, mileage 90.000

The car travels well on normal roads; as soon as I climb the smallest hill it loses power dramatically and will not go faster than 45 mph even by changing gear to third manually.

Three mercedes garages have failed to diagnose the problem.

Can you help please?

Ps
Unable to donate due to none expectance of £GBP

Have you noticed any smoke or smelled anything odd?

It makes me think your injectors could be causing the problem. Also, has your exhaust system been checked? Your catalytic converter may be blocked.

If you've had your injectors changed recently - I once read that at Mercedes garages, they go through a lot of injectors just to find working ones.
