I have a 1995 C280 and ear temperature inside constantly gets very hot And then completely shuts off and gets very cold from outside air.

Does anyone know why he can't maintain a steady temperature assets on the inside temperature control.

Hello,

It sounds like you have a faulty interior temp sensor.

If you go to this link I've (SL600_Cruzin) posted a really long description of how to check all of the parameters using the built-in climate control diagnostics for both the early and late 1995 C280 models. You can do this "without" the use of a scan tool.

Also check these values when the car is cold, interior and exterior temp values should be pretty close (as long as the car is not parked in the sun). If you see a sensor that looks out of line it should help direct you to the problem.

If you need more help or cannot get to the link please let me know and I'll try to help.

Cheers
