1995 Other Mercedes Benz Models idling
the problem i have is when driving and i brake the engine sounds as though it is only firing on three cylinders but no problems when driving

Hi d.mac,
If the misfiring only occurs at idling with the brake pedal depressed and not when the pedal is released, it could be the brake power booster or valve is having some vacumn leakage.
