Car wont start sprayed starter fluid in carb car starts.I replaced fuel pump and regulator car wont start. Disconnect fuel pump sprayed starter fluid in carb car starts. What do I do next

Thank you for the response I will try it.

Why is it when the fuel pump is connected the car wont start with spraying starter fluid in carb BUT when the fuel pump is disconnected the car will start spraying starter fluid

Replace fuel filter, remove fuel hose from carby in let and check for fuel pressure & flow there. If ok check carby needle and seat is not stuck closed.
