1996 Mercedes Benz E250 alarm system
1996 Mercedes Benz E250 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 201000 miles
i have just got the E250 the alarm deactiates when i unlock the doors, but the imobilizser stays on. How do i reset it please?

Your going to have to try a hard reset of the vehicle. This is accomplished by disconnecting the battery for a period of time. Usually 30 min +. If this does not work then you are more than likely experiencing a failed AAM (All Activity Module) which controls the Alarm system. These do go out from time to time.
