2003 Mercedes Benz C230 the right engine oil

working on a 2003 c320 mercedes wondering what the difference between tri-synthetic and synthetic motor oil is?????? Please help me.!!!!!!:( ):

Most full synthetic oils will be fine in your MB. However MB does recommend Mobil 1 which is a trisynthetic. With that in mind, at my last MB dealership I was at we used Vavoline for all oil changes. At my shop we only use Mobil 1. The only oil I would stay away from is Penzoil as I hae seen continued use of this oil damage the motor because of wax deposits in the oil itself.
