My check engine light went on a while back and I took it in to the dealership and they told me it was the thermostat sensor/ thermostat. So i got the the sensor and the thermostat changed by my mechanic (mercedes was charging 100 dollars an hour). Before I got the sensor changed my car was heating up to about 90c and now its going to about 120c... I live in San Diego so it's not very hot here. My car is black and its a kompressor, but should it be getting that hot? My check engine light hasn't come on yet so I'm thinking its okay... Please help =S
