1999 Mercedes Benz C230 oil change and radio code

I ask my husband to get the oil changed and he was not paying attention. He took it to Wal Mart and they put in 10W30. It has always had synthic oil.
I called wall mart and they said I could bring it back in the moring and they would drain it and put in the right kind. Will this hurt my car. I was always told to use synthic oil.

Also I took it to a shop that works on Benz to get c/a fixed and it still does not work. I wonder if there is a code they need to make it work right, but also they gave it back and the radio does not work. They gave me a code but it did not work. I took it back left it for 2 hrs. They had not even looked at it so I had to go. Can you get me the code and instructions I am kinda done with that shop? Thank you.

10W30 is all climate oil and you should not be concerned. 10W30 can still be synthetic oil so you probably mean you just have the wrong weight of oil. (Usually use 5W30 perhaps?)

The dealer are the only ones who have the code specific for your vehicle without paying money for the code. You may want to consider taking it to your local Mercedes Benz dealer instead of a small repair shop for this job.
