Engine Mechanical problem
2001 Mercedes Benz A160 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 110000 miles
Hi. The starter dragged before the car started, switched off the engine & the car would not start again. The battery seems fine. I have charged it again. Checked all the fuses & relays, & ascertained that the car was in park or neutral before starting.

Finally found where the starter lock-out relay is. Bridged the wires from 30 to 87 and still nothing happened. Eventually found that the fuse was not making proper contact. The car is running fine now. This would have cost me about R10000 to repair at the agents.
