1983 Mercedes Benz 380sl Spark plug firing order

1983 Mercedes Benz 380sl V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 140k miles
I trying to put the spark plug wires in the correct order. I was told that the firing order was located these number on the cover from left to right (15486372) is this the correct firing order and if so how do I follow ie, which is right side, left to right. Please help.
