Key tumbler cylinder replacement

Interior problem
1997 Mercedes Benz 320e 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 92000 miles

how do I remove and replace the key tumbler switch? I ordered a replacement from the dealer. The original is worn, and doesnt always work, and when it does, you have to pull slightly on the key as u turn.

You will need to make a relaese tool to specification (see pic below). Remove snap in panel around ignition tumbler assembly and insert key, turn to position 1
Insert tool into holes in lock cylinder face, the holes should be at about 1 o'clock and 7 o'clock.
Push inward slightly on release tool while pulling outward on key, this should remove the cylinder.

Push new lock into housing ,but dont bottom it out, insert key and turn to position 1, then it should go all the way in.
