1991 Mercedes Benz 300sl convertible top

All of a sudden my top refused to open even though it unlocks and the cover opens. If I assist opening by pushing while holding the switch on, I can get it open and it will close as usual. Do you have a solution?

Im not a mechanic but I have top issues as well. Ive been told there are 10 hyd cyl in back and 2 in front(on top of windsheild). So the cyl in back probably have a problem. Hope this helped.
