Air Conditioning problem
1986 Mercedes Benz 300e 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

i just changed my compresor and recieve/drier unit,but the clutch of the compressor won't kick in inorder to take in freon,i had it flushed and everything

With the system being open to the atsmophere, you will have to get the system vacuumed down, this will do 3 things, remove any moisture from the system, prove the integrity of the system as if it holds vacuum there are no leaks and create a vacuum on the low side of the system so the correct charge of refrigerant can be let in to the system, when a charge is added you will then be able to start the system and fill to the correct weight as now the low pressure switch is tripped and this will be stopping the comp from running.
