1997 Mercedes Benz 300d Two Wheel Drive Automatic 195000 miles
I'm thinking about purchasing a 1997 Mercedes 300D. I no nothing about diesel's, but I heard they last a long time if kept up. I want to know is there anything I should be looking for before I purchase this vehicle.

Hi there,
This is quite so, and the 300D is a great engine, the only thing i would be looking for is to see that it has had regular servicing, check the service book and make sure that all the coupons have been check off this is the best way to see if it has been kept up and also you will see who has serviced it, a dealer will be a bonus as well.
