1996 Mercedes Benz 300d Engine died
Engine Performance problem
1996 Mercedes Benz 300d 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 158000 miles
My 1996 300 diesel just died out on the road with no warning. I recently replace the fuel filter and gas lines. After waiting 2 minutes and replacing the ignition key the engine started up like new and I drove homes. Also,when it died the ABS light came on as well as the ETS.

Hi
Suspect fuel pump shut off possible relay. Would need to check for pressure when it shuts down easiest way crack open a line at injector or pump.
