1995 Mercedes Benz 220cdi Check Engine Light - EGR code 400
Engine Performance problem
1995 Mercedes Benz 220cdi 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 190,00 miles
I currently have a check engine light, caused by the EGR 400 code. I first got the light about 2 months ago, I found carbon build up at the shutoff valve, so i cleaned it, Light came back on, so i replaced the shutoff valve. After further trouble shooting I replaced the EGR valve, the EGR vauum manifold & the EGR vacuum lines. The light still illuminates at 30 miles after reset. I'm hoping i missed something in the system but my resources tell me I have done everything possible, the car runs great but I have an annoying check engine light.can ya help?
