Car was running fine when parked but will not start 5mins later. Tried awrostart but no good. Suspect imalso mobilizer problem. How is it reset? Also my 1988 230e stopped whilst driving & is not fuel problem, has power to coil yet will not fire (won't start even with aerostart.I suspect in computer but I know nothing about that technology. Apsrently neither does the local auto electrician, says he doesn't know where to look. This car out of action past 6weeks. Hope you can assist. Regards Pat

First I will try to help, but I am not an MB tech, but you need to figure out what is NOT working, fuel, spark or engine compression, do these tests and get back to us.Start with the basics, and work your way up, Last tune up was? Wires plugs ALL filters? If all that is ok, check for a stuck EGR, then test fuel pump pressure, If it won't restart, determine what's missing, the engine needs three things to run, Spark at all plugs, gas to all cylinders, and compression in all cylinders, tho an engine may run lacking one in one cylinder, it won't run very well!
