1988 Mercedes Benz 190e timing marks

I need to know the timing marks on a 190e
the one on the cam is the one i'm having issues with
i know TDC but where does the mark on the cam point. I was told it sits even with the right side of the head. But that is not right, so a little help would be great. Thanks.

Well see the mark. Mine isn't that close to the rocker. Mine is closest to the sprocket, I lined it up like that shows. And i'm not getting compression, it had compression before.
And it's a 2.3
and also it a, jan-1988 190e
if this matters, sometimes it does.
