I am getting this engine light code, PO352. The facrory manual describes this as "Ignition Coil B primary or secondary circuit malfunction (V6 engine).

I am at my witts end. We need this car.

I put in new plugs; a new coil-on-plug, moved these around in order to try to get a different code. Checked the wire harness for conductivity and there are no leaks to ground. I get 12 volts at th eignition side of each COP; I get a spark at each COP.

I cannot get rid of the engine light code. I feel that the factory manual and all others are saying that ignition is determined by the computer. I dont think that there is anything left to analyze. So, a new $238.- Computer from Advanced Auto?

Hi there,

Thank you for the donation,

I have done a bit of research into this one and basically you have done every thing correctly, so I would see if you can try a known ECU just to prove the point before committing to the purchase.

Have the codes been cleared since the work was done? There are some vehicles that will not clear the code and turn out the light, they have to be performed manually. The prefered method is with a scan tool. There will be some relearn activities if the battery is disconnected to clear them.

Once cleared drive until the monitors set and the code either returns or doesn't.
