The only way this engine will stay running is with the choke on. When the choke releases, the engine dies unless throttle is feathered. It started doing this all of a sudden.

Check the curb idle speed if its to specs if not try adjusting the idle speed screw to raise the idle speed -don't work you have a problem with the idle circuit in the carb.
