98 Protege IDLE PROBLEM

My protege is idling under 100 rpm. At times when I have been driving it in traffic it will stop because of lack of gas.

Also when the air condition is on it will hover at 10 rpm.

I imagine that it is the air control valve or EGR. How do I change that and is it difficult to do?

What engine, I show 1.8 or 1.5? But usually it would be the IAC, and it's usually found on the side of the throttle body, Easy to change!
