I have a 1993 Mazda Protege that has been parked most of the time for the past three years. I think over the past three years I've probably averaged about two or three a month that I've driven the vehicle. Before I had the fuel pump and filter replaced, I think it may have sat two months. After having these repairs done, my car run for four days before I contacted the repair shop the previously replaced the fuel pump and filter.
The repair shop recheck the fuel pump and filter and said everything was fine on the end except for I needed some new spark plugs and the old fuel in my gas tank replace. I didn't let the repair check install the spark plugs, I decided to do it my self since it was a simple job. Now that I have the spark plugs in, my car still won't start.
Do you all think if I remove the old gas and replace it with new gas will this make my car start? At this time I'm very frustrated and don't know what to do with this car.
