Electrical problem
1991 Mazda Protege 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Hello,
I have a problem with my car where when I put the key in the ignition and turn the key to start the car my car will not start but I hear a buzzing sound from the passenger side at the bottom of my glove compartment and the sound seems to be coming from the wiring.
I had the car's battery tested already and the alternator and both were fine so I'm wondering if it is
the starter, the charging system or the ignition coil. Any help you can provide me will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
TIZ

Try shorting out the starter solenoid if it cranks the engine over, the problem lies on the starter relay, park and neutral position switch and ignition switch-If it doesn't crank the egnine test the starter
